Random Acts of Carving

It's random of course, but here's the basics. Recipients are selected at random from nominations that have been received. Not "because this one is better than that one" or anything like that - just at random. The recipient, whether a person or an organization, will receive an ice sculpture along with a note explaining to them that they are the proud recipient of a Random Act of Carving and why. We will not disclose who the nomination came from and where possible the delivery will be made in a way that minimizes contact so that we don't have to explain to anyone the who, what, where of it all. We  strive for each delivery to be an unexpected surprise. 

None whatsoever. These Random Acts of Carving are our way of giving back to the communities that have supported the work we have had the pleasure of doing for the past two decades. Time after time we see the positive impacts that community minded residents and organizations have on their communities - we want to celebrate that. 

Simply click the button below and email us the name of the person or organization you'd like to nominate and tell us why. What is it about this person or organization that makes you want to celebrate them? Was it something they did for you? For someone or something in your community? For the city you live in?

Unfortunately we cannot as this would take away the "Random" part of it all. We can most certainly discuss creating a sculpture for any specific event or date and time but that is technically a commission and would need to be paid for. Please don't hesitate to ask - contact us today.

Again, it's random. We can't say when or where or even if. But we can promise you we'll do our very best to make it happen. It doesn't matter if it's near or far - we can get sculptures to virtually anywhere in Alberta. Even into British Columbia and Saskatchewan! Sure, it's easier if they are in our own back yard but don't let distance stop you from submitting a nomination. You just never know what may happen.
